Winner of Marie Sklodowska Currie Individual scholarship, Ms. Radenka Krsmanović Whiffen PhD, was a special guest at the Best Practice Day, which took place at the Ministry of Science of Montenegro on 11th July 2018. She has shared her experience with Montenegrin candidates interested in obtaining this prestigious scholarship.

Dr. Krsmanović Whiffen will implement her MSCA IF scholarship for the project "ZnS Wurtzite Nanotextured Ceramic Materials for Pyroelectric Energy Harvesting" at the ENEA Casaccia Research Center in Rome, Italy. She discussed with the researchers about the process and preparation of the project application, and pointed out the key segments that are in the focus of the evaluator when evaluating project ideas.

The attendees had the opportunity to hear more about the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) and the newly founded Western Balkans MCAA Group whose founder and administrator is Dr Krsmanović Whiffen. It is a global network of researchers that should serve to exchange researchers' views, improve the flow of knowledge between different countries, the economy sector and scientific disciplines, and improve the cooperation of members of the association as well as external users. Dr. Krsmanović Whiffen invited all MSCA participants from Montenegro to join the MCAA and the Western Balkans Group.
