(Charter & Code)

Within the Erasmus + project "Strengthening Research Potential in Higher Education as a Contribution to Further Development of the Western Balkans Region - Re @ WBC", the Career Development Center of the University of Montenegro and the Euraxess Network in Montenegro organized an info day on the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for their Recruitment (Charter & Code) and Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). The event was held at the Faculty of Economics on June 19, 2018.

Implementation of the principles of the Charter & Code and Human Resource Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), which the European Commission presented publicly in March 2005, guarantees the improvement of employment and working conditions at universities, and represents an important prerequisite for joining the European Research Area (European Research Area - ERA). These two documents, addressed to researchers, as well as research institutions in the public and private sectors, are the key elements of the EU policy to foster the career of researchers.

In addition to the information on the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for their Recruitment, the info day discussed the progress of the University of Montenegro in this domain as well as the possibilities that the Euraxess network offers to researchers, with special emphasis on the Euraxess portal and the current call for MSCA individual scholarships.
