EURAXESS Montenegro is widening entrepreneurship network - visit to Luxemburg startup ecosystem

EURAXESS Montenegro participated in the third study visit. Researcher Dr Ivan Radević from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro had the opportunity to attend the ICT Spring Tech conference during his stay in Luxembourg as part of the EURAXESS HUBs project, which aims to strengthen innovation and connect science and economy through entrepreneurship and the development of startups. Visit to the business incubator Technoport as well as to the University of Luxembourg, which is in charge of managing the university business incubator, are just some of the networking opportunities provided to the University of Montenegro and Dr Ivan Radević, as the support for future entrepreneurial activities and ideas.

The study visit program of the EURAXESS HUBs project enabled participants to get to know the start-up ecosystem of Luxembourg, and its key actors - House of Startups and House of Entrepreneurship, as well as the Interdisciplinary Center for Security, Reliability and Trust of the University of Luxembourg).

During the program, representatives of the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy and the Luxembourg Business Angel Network took part as actors who each from their own position contribute to the creation and strengthening of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Luxembourg.

The third study visit within the EURAXESS HUBs project gathered participants and representatives of EURAXESS centers from Montenegro, Israel, Malta, Cyprus, Estonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Luxembourg.

Luxembourgs start-up ecosystem consists of a network of about 700 startups predominantly focused on the fields of finance, information technology and healthcare, and is supported by more than 15 business incubators, as well as strong state support for the development of science and business.
